Next Friday, pharmacists will have the opportunity to experience the interactive PSA21Virtual.
The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) notes their excitement for the upcoming National Conference.
It will enable pharmacists across all areas of practice to access industry-leading CPD; hear from industry, political leaders and experts; to showcase their research and to advance Australia’s standard of pharmacist-delivered patient care.
During the three-day event, delegates will hear from experts in the industry, keeping you up to date with recent developments, policy and practice changes.
Additionally, delegates will have the opportunity to learn from and build relationships with specialist and expert speakers across diverse topics.
Event speakers include international guest Dan Schneider, pharmacist and activist from the Netflix docuseries “The Pharmacist”, A/Prof Suzanne Nielsen, Dr Jacinta Johnson, Dr Katie Allen MP, Emma McBride MP and Dr Andrew Stafford along with special announcement from the Commonwealth Minister for Health and Aged Care, Hon Greg Hunt MP.
Specialised masterclasses will be available on aged care, diabetes, heart failure and research throughout August as part of the PSA21 virtual program.
PSA will also host the Pharmacy Student of the Year (PSOTY) awards, recognising outstanding pharmacy students.
Once again, PSA will be working closely with the Australasian Pharmaceutical Science Association (APSA) to bring delegates the latest in research that impacts your practice.
Lastly, the Pharmacy Shark Tank showcases Australian pharmacists’ innovative ideas and solutions that address unmet clinical needs and how these ideas can shape the future of pharmacy practice.
