Scholarship opportunity for pharmacy leaders

In order to give back to the pharmacy community, industry leaders Frank and Mina Siriani who have worked in the pharmacy industry for more than 43 years, are once again offering The Sirianni Scholarship for Future Pharmacist Leaders.

The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide learning opportunities for and mentor junior pharmacists who are looking to become pharmacy owners in the future and a coaching call to personalise their experience.

A total of 10 scholarships will be awarded in 2023.

The winners of the scholarship will receive the following:

The total value of the scholarship is over $1000 each plus GST.

‘A career-changing experience’

“Having the opportunity this year to learn the intricacies of pharmacy ownership from an industry leader like Frank Sirianni has been an incredible and career-changing experience,” Harrison Khan, previous Sirianni Scholarship Winner said.

“If you are a young and aspiring pharmacy student looking to buy a pharmacy in the near future, this program will give you all the support and network you could possibly want and more.

How to apply

To apply for the scholarship, applicants must submit a response to the following statement (maximum of 500 words):

“The opportunities I see for the future of pharmacy…”

Applications close Wednesday 26 April 2023 and will be judged by a panel of Frank Sirianni, Mina Sirianni, Natalie Sirianni and a current pharmacy owner.

Applications should be emailed to events@iattain.com.au with the subject line “The Sirianni Scholarship Application”.

All applications should include the name, phone, email and city/state of the applicant.

Applicants should also include a short bio of no more than 100 words (not included in the 500-word limit above).

If the successful scholarship winners have already registered and paid for their attendance at the 2023 Pharmacy Ownership & Partnership Ready Conference, a full refund will be given to cover your registration fee.

Conditions of Entry:

  • The judge’s decision for the scholarship winners will be final.
  • There will be no transfers, credits or refunds if a scholarship winner is unable to attend the dates of the conference.
  • The scholarship covers the conference registration fee only. It does not include any accommodation or travel costs for attending the conference.
