Professor Kevin Batty elected as President of the Council of Pharmacy Schools: Australia and New Zealand

The Australia Pharmacy Council (APC) welcomes the election of Professor Kevin Batty as President of the Council of Pharmacy Schools: Australia and New Zealand (CPS).

Chief Executive Officer, Bronwyn Clark acknowledges the strong partnership between CPS and APC, and thanks outgoing President, Professor Debra Rowett PSM, for her leadership to date.

“CPS is such an important partner of ours, and we have appreciated the close and collegiate relationship we have enjoyed under Debra’s leadership. She has been an outstanding leader in advancing pharmacy education.

“I have no doubt that this will continue under Kevin’s leadership and wealth of knowledge. I look forward the future with CPS at this very exciting time for pharmacy education.”

The APC also congratulates Professor Andrew McLachlan AM FPS who will continue in his role as CPS Vice-President, and incoming Treasurer Associate Professor David Newby FPS.
