Complete Care Pharmacy Devonport officially celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, 1 July, welcoming pharmacy industry representatives, local healthcare partners and members of the Devonport community to mark the occasion.
The pharmacy is owned by mother-and-daughter pharmacists Susan and Hannah Lee, whose long-standing connection to the Devonport community was reflected in the strong turnout. The pair joined the Complete Care Pharmacy network earlier this year, transforming their pharmacy to the Complete Care model with private consult pods, a triage desk system and an expanded range of clinical services delivered by pharmacists practising to their full scope.
The launch caps a strong period for the pharmacy, with Hannah Lee and Jared Wilson named Tasmanian Pharmacist of the Year finalists, while the pharmacy itself is a finalist for Tasmanian Pharmacy of the Year.
“Devonport has always supported our pharmacy, and this launch is our way of showing the community what modern pharmacy care can look like,” said Hannah Lee, pharmacist and co-owner.
“Patients can now see a pharmacist privately for a growing range of health concerns, without an appointment or the need to travel elsewhere. Our new dispensing robot also allows us to work more efficiently, giving us more time to focus on what matters most – our patients.”
