Garnier official green partner of Moonlight Cinema

Garnier has become the official green partner and beauty sponsor of Moonlight Cinema for the 2020-21 Summer Season, showcasing Garnier’s efforts to make sustainable beauty accessible to all.

In addition, it will support Moonlight Cinema onsite with education initiatives around recycling and sustainability to reduce its global environmental impact.

Garnier invites guests to visit the Garnier Garden Cart, which will be onsite from January 2021 to find out more about Garnier’s commitments to ‘Greener Beauty’ and for some take-home goodies.

Commenting on the partnership, Garnier Marketing Director Jane Hanger says Moonlight Cinema’s sustainable-led initiatives demonstrate important business leadership and tie in with Garnier’s own ‘Greener Beauty’ mission and its pledge.

The integration of paperless ticketing, recycling stations and the use of biodegradable materials at all venues as well as Moonlight Cinema’s partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) demonstrates a real commitment to sustainable business practices and values,” said Hanger says.

Marketing and Communications Manager of Moonlight Cinema, Nicola Whiteside says that Garnier will donate $2 for every ticket sold nationally from the Presenting Partner screenings of ‘I Am Greta’, to Australian non-profit, clean up movement, Take 3 For The Sea.

“Not only will guests have the opportunity to share in Greta Thunberg’s international crusade to get people to listen to scientists on the world’s environmental problems, but they’ll also be supporting Take 3 for the Sea, a truly inspiring organisation that works to reduce the impacts of plastic pollution and waste on our planet through educational programs,” she says.

Garnier’s Presenting Partner screenings of ‘I Am Greta’ was held on 20 January 2021.
