Guardian launches charity initiative

Guardian Pharmacy has launched a new in-store charity initiative, ‘Better Communities’, to help raise funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies).

The new initiative, which will be rolled out to Guardian pharmacies across Australia from 21 July to 18 August, provides an opportunity for customers to take part in Guardian’s commitment to charitable giving.

Customers can do this by purchasing a bespoke tote bag from their local Guardian pharmacy, with all proceeds donated to Vinnies.

“We know that our Guardian team members and customers value opportunities to give back to their local communities and ‘Better Communities’ is just one of the ways that we are delivering on this,” Head of Guardian Pharmacy, Kurt O’Brien said.

“The initiative not only adds to Guardian’s existing portfolio of charitable activities but means that our franchise partners can tap into marketing support across EDMs, online and socials to increase foot traffic and engagement with their customers.

“We’re proud to be evolving the ways in which we support Vinnies this year with the aim to give our Guardian communities greater opportunities to get involved in our charity work at a grass-roots level.”

‘Better Communities’ totes are part of Guardian’s ongoing support for Vinnies and are available for purchase in Guardian pharmacies across Australia for $5 from 21 July.
