Pharmacy Guild: ‘Let’s talk about your salaries’

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (PGA) is wanting to hear from you as it takes expressions of interest from members of the pharmacy workforce wanting to participate in the 2023/24 financial year Remuneration Survey.

The survey benefits members as it will take the pulse of payrates this August to help better understand industry remuneration rates and help pharmacies remain competitive and attract and retain staff.

It’s part of the Pharmacy Guild’s Workforce Capability Project, which helps the Guild to understand factors driving workforce shortages and improvements community pharmacy can make to attract and maintain the right people with the right skills.

Pharmacy Guild National President, Trent Twomey says the survey is a great way for the Guild and its members to understand the workforce needs.

“By participating you are not only helping your practice to stay competitive but also to give the pharmacy industry an insight into workforce evolution and business sustainability.

“And the survey is welcome to both members and non-members alike to participate,” he said.

Everyone who participates will also be given an advanced copy of the survey.

The Guild has just published the 2022/23 Remuneration Report after gathering data for this past financial year for participants.

To take part in the 2023/24 survey you must have access to and be able to provide the payroll data from your pharmacy’s workforce.

You have until July 16 to express your interest to participate by clicking here.
