New consumer brands company set to make waves in the Aussie retail market

Hiro Brands, a new Australian consumer goods company, reportedly plans to leverage relationships with more than 7000 retail outlets in a bid to introduce a raft of new products to the local market across personal care, cosmetics, and household care.

Hiro Brands MD and CEO, Steven Chaur, says the Australian retail market is ready for more ‘better for you’ products that are sustainably and locally produced.

“It’s a $6.5B market,” says Mr Chaur, “and Australian consumers want good Australian-made products.”

He says that together with their existing brands, the company will introduce “new products from high-end cosmetics through to organic detergents”.

“Hiro Brands has invested in over 800 unique product formulations together with our R&D lab and a team of highly qualified chemists.

“With global supply chain disruptions presenting ongoing risks it is great to be focusing on locally sourced natural ingredients, local manufacturing and supplying sustainable products to the Australian retail market,” says Mr Chaur.

About Hiro Brands

Hiro Brands was formed through the acquisition of existing businesses Aware and Heat, giving the new company a wide range of leading consumer brands and an extensive distribution network.

The name Hiro is Japanese for generosity, tolerance, and prosperity, and this, according to the company, reflects its commitment to sustainability and local success.

Hiro products are sold through more than 7000 Australian retail outlets, including Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Terry White, Guardian, Amcal, Pharmacy Alliance and Direct Chemist Outlets.
