TerryWhite Chemmart has successfully concluded its 10th annual Masterclass event, pushing the boundaries of pharmacy education and empowering over 550 pharmacists and pharmacy professionals.
The event served as a platform to explore imminent changes in community pharmacy practice, workshop solutions and showcase best-in-class clinical expertise.
Featuring educational sessions delivered by 25 industry-leading educators and over 40 supplier partners, Masterclass presented a fresh perspective on medicine, products, equipment, and service delivery.
Attendees immersed themselves in three days of interactive learning, including one-to-one and peer-based group sessions, as well as engaging case studies aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world implementation.
Luke Watson, Network Partner from TerryWhite Chemmart in Mentone, Victoria, praised the event, stating, “Masterclass is the one event we mark in our calendar each year. It is undoubtedly the best pharmacy education tool available. Previously, we brought along team members to educate and motivate them. Masterclass drives our CareClinic strategy, offering new ideas and insights for the future of our pharmacy.”
The sessions covered key elements of emerging community pharmacy practice, including full scope of practice, medicinal cannabis, and navigating the menopausal transition.
Notably, the TerryWhite Chemmart CareClinic program was officially launched during the event. This integrated strategy aims to elevate professional services within the pharmacy setting, improve health outcomes for patients and drive customer footfall.
Brenton Hart, Chief Pharmacist at TerryWhite Chemmart, emphasized the transformative impact of Masterclass, stating, “Masterclass provides a unique opportunity for our pharmacists to expand their skills in emerging areas of practice and surpass patient expectations. We firmly believe that a pharmacist trained through Masterclass not only meets but exceeds patient needs and expectations.”
In the face of ongoing industry changes and uncertainty, the gathering of over 550 pharmacists and professionals at Masterclass served as a reminder of the sector’s power to change lives through better health outcomes. Mr Hart added, “Together, as a collective, we possess the skills and passion to succeed and to overcome the challenges ahead, now is the time to double down on professional development and the care we provide.”
With over 5000 team members and more than 2000 pharmacists nationwide, TerryWhite Chemmart’s Masterclass program offers unparalleled opportunities for networking, learning, and professional growth within the pharmacy industry.
