TerryWhite Chemmart app that aims to enhance the convenience and accessibility of diabetes management

TerryWhite Chemmart is pleased to announce the launch of a new feature in its myTWC app that aims to enhance the convenience and accessibility of diabetes management. With the introduction of NDSS functionality, individuals living with diabetes can now easily access their necessary supplies through the app, ensuring they have everything they need to take care of their health, anytime and anywhere.

The myTWC app has already revolutionised the way customers interact with TerryWhite Chemmart, offering a range of services such as script management, online booking for in-pharmacy health services, and online shopping. Now, with the addition of the NDSS feature, customers can conveniently store their membership number(s) and effortlessly order their required supplies directly from the app. Whether they prefer click and collect or delivery from the pharmacy, restocking supplies and reordering scripts has never been easier.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, approximately 1 in 20 Australians are living with diabetes, making the need for effective management solutions paramount. With over 1.3 million Australians registered with the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) and the Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group, it is not uncommon for households to have multiple family members requiring diabetes management. myTWC family mode allows for multiple patients living with diabetes to efficiently organize and manage their healthcare needs in one place.

Chief Pharmacist Brenton Hart emphasises the importance of this new feature, stating, “As a pharmacist, I can appreciate how difficult managing Diabetes can be and TerryWhite Chemmart is invested in providing customers healthcare solutions that improve access and convenience. myTWC continues to build on this promise not only storing and filling prescriptions, but now being able to order NDSS consumables means one easy visit to the pharmacy to collect what’s needed. Customers can also choose to have their items delivered with our delivery options.”
