Victorian pharmacist wins $10,000

Pharmacist Lewis Williams, from Craigieburn in Victoria, won $10,000 as a consolation prize when he entered the Maxigesic Millionaire promotion.

Mr Williams entered the trade promotion that was open to all Australian pharmacists during the past four months through purchasing Maxigesic, which is the first analgesic that combines paracetamol and ibuprofen to be registered for use in Australia.

Mr Williams was the winner drawn from all qualifying entries at the end of the promotion and had the chance to make one pick from 100 envelopes, with one envelope containing the $1 million prize.

Unfortunately Mr Williams’ lucky streak did not continue to see him snatch the ultimate prize, but he didn’t walk away empty handed.
