There are only 100 days to go until Pharmacy Connect 2022. After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, the conference is back on in Sydney from 1-3 September.
With a theme of ‘building better connections with patients’, this year’s program is expected to bring together leadership, business and clinical content to support attendees in building better patient relationships.
Kos Sclavos AM, Pharmacy Connect Convenor and former Guild National President, says that after an extended period of uncertainty, fear, lockdown and disruption, more than ever pharmacists need to come together to make sense of the post-Covid-19 world.
“The post-Covid-19 period presents many threats to community pharmacies which fail to adapt to the new operating conditions, where changes are significant and need to be fully understood,” says Mr Sclavos.
“With the focus on the virus, many pharmacies have failed to grasp opportunities in the Community Pharmacy Agreement.
“Pharmacy Connect represents an opportunity to re-focus on strategy and move forward with some practical content that will help deliver better outcomes for our patients.”
In addition to educational content, Pharmacy Connect delegates will have access to valuable networking opportunities with peers, industry leaders and suppliers.
The event incorporates a 50-plus stand trade exhibition and an exciting social agenda including a Welcome Reception and Cocktail Party.
Pharmacy Connect is open to all levels of pharmacy, from pharmacists, pharmacy managers, pharmacy staff and group executives, to interns and students.
