The Department of Health and Aged Care has released a 60-day dispensing (60DD) pharmacy kit: ‘Pharmacy Kit – PBS Medicines with Increased Dispensing Quantities‘.
The kit provides information to pharmacies about changes related to 60DD, including:
- the background to the changes;
- information on reinvesting funds into pharmacies;
- managing medicine supply shortages.
The kit also provides answers to frequently asked questions related to 60DD.
