Oral care brand launches new kids care solutions ahead of WOHD

Ahead of World Oral Health Day (20 March), oral care brand, Grin Natural, is launching three new Kids Oral Care solutions:

  • Grin Kids Natural Strawberry with Fluoride Toothpaste Gel (RRP $6.99).
  • Grin Kids Biodegradable Dental Flossers (RRP $6.49).
  • Grin Kids Complete Oral Care Starter Pack (RRP $12.99).

With a report by Australia’s Oral Health Tracker showing that 34% of children aged 5-6 years old have experienced tooth decay in primary teeth, and tooth decay alone is considered one of the most common chronic diseases in childhood, General Manager of Grin Natural, Mark Hitchcock, says that “it is critical to shine a light on the importance of good oral hygiene”.

“Untreated decay in children’s teeth can have far-reaching implications including gum disease, premature loss of primary teeth as well as impaired speech development, depression, reduced self-esteem and confidence, all of which reach into adulthood,” he says.

“This is why it is critical to shine a light on the importance of good oral hygiene for those who may not have considered this to be a crucial part of their overall health and wellbeing.

“There is a compelling argument for creating a healthy routine of brushing twice a day and flossing in conjunction with a healthy diet.

“The Grin Kids Dental Flossers and Complete Starter Pack were designed by Grin with the support of dentists, with the explicit goal to help parents create a proper oral care routine that kids would enjoy, and one that would set them up for a lifetime of good oral care habits,” says Mr Hitchcock.
