More than $800K raised for the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation

Priceline Pharmacy’s ‘Sisterhoodies’ fundraising campaign, fronted by Priceline Ambassador Chrissie Swan, has raised more than $800,000, beating the last two annual fundraising efforts.

Lending a hand from her fashion-designer bestie Rebecca Thompson, Ms Swan set out to design an exclusive range of four ‘Sisterhoodies’ hoodie jumpers to celebrate and champion Australian women and their families.

Australians who shopped at Priceline were encouraged to round up their purchase by $3 or more to enter the draw to win one of the 400 exclusive designs.

Ms Swan said of the campaign, “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved. The ‘Sisterhoodies’ embodied everything we wanted to convey to the public: making everyone feel like they were wearing a warm hug, and showing, through the heart and flower-led designs, the love, compassion, strength and support that the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation is grounded on. To everyone who came together to donate or support, thank you – we are so chuffed!”

Priceline Pharmacy General Manager Andrew Vidler said, “I want to thank our customers Australia-wide for their very generous donations.

“With over $800,000 raised, it will allow us to help the four great charities we support to continue their fantastic work.

“Our store teams have done a wonderful job to bring the campaign to life and help inspire this incredible fundraising effort.”

One hundred per cent of funds raised will go to Priceline Sisterhood Foundation’s four Charity Partners: Dementia Australia, Motherless Daughters Australia, PANDA and Raise Foundation.

“At Motherless Daughters Australia, we’re extremely grateful to be one of the charity partners of the Foundation,” Co-Founder and Executive Officer, Motherless Daughters Australia, Danielle Snelling said.

“The support has allowed us to build on our critical infrastructure; so important for our growth as a grassroots charity.

“It’s also allowed us to continue to reach more women and girls, as we help them to navigate the emotional distress and lifelong impact of premature mother loss.

“The contributions made by the Foundation have had an incredible impact on extending our impact and reach to help our community to feel supported, and less isolated and alone.”
