Priceline Pharmacy launches annual nationwide fundraising campaign

Priceline Pharmacy has unveiled its latest fundraising campaign for the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation, ‘Stand Up for the Sisterhood’ across its 470 stores nationwide.

The ‘Stand Up for the Sisterhood’ campaign will see Priceline Ambassador Chrissie Swan call on her good friends and Australia’s favourite comedians Dave Hughes, Nikki Britton, Claire Hooper and Lizzy Hoo for a one-night-only charity comedy show hosted by Chrissie on 16 August at Melbourne’s Comedy Republic.

With the campaign running from 29 June to 26 July, this year’s Priceline Sisterhood Foundation aims to raise $1 million. All proceeds raised will be donated to the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation, which includes charity partners like Motherless Daughters Australia, Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia (PANDA) and Raise Foundation.

Customers who donate $2 or more at any Priceline Pharmacy will go in the draw to win a VIP double pass experience to the Stand Up for the Sisterhood comedy charity show worth $2000, including return flights and accommodation.

Stores will be rewarded for their fundraising efforts too, with two team members from the top fundraising Priceline Pharmacy stores receiving a VIP experience to the Stand Up for the Sisterhood comedy charity show.

Priceline Sisterhood Foundation Patron Ita Buttrose said: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Priceline Pharmacy for many years now and the store teams are truly passionate about the women in their communities. I am confident that their efforts in-store will help the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation reach its donation goal of $1 million this year.”

Priceline Pharmacy General Manager Andrew Vidler says store involvement each year is always competitive – and key to the success of the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation.

“Our store teams love to go above and beyond in the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation fundraising campaign each year, expect to see raffles, hampers, lucky dips – anything that encourages their community to dig deep for their ‘sisters’ who need our support.

“With the added bonus of a VIP experience at the Stand Up for the Sisterhood comedy show, I anticipate some friendly rivalry within the network!”

Tickets will be promoted through Priceline Pharmacy’s digital ecosystem to its 8 million+ Sister Club members and via its social media channels.

Priceline Pharmacy gives special thanks to major Sisterhood campaign sponsors, Sanofi, L’Oréal, Pharmacare Laboratories, Procter & Gamble, Allergan and AFT Pharmaceuticals.
