Blooms the Chemist explores culture and retail excellence at 2024 partner’s conference in Japan

Blooms The Chemist held its annual Partner’s Conference and Awards from 6 – 11 of November 2024 for over 180 Pharmacist-owners, supplier partners, sponsors and guests.

The 2024 Partner’s Conference took place in Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan, which marked the network’s return to international conferences, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and strategic learning across borders.

Global retail practices were explored in iconic Japanese locations, including Kyoto’s historic sites, Tokyo’s retail hubs, and the famous Ginza district to deepen the team’s understanding of cultural impacts on retail success.

Professor John Strong, renowned American retail expert and Harvard alumni, spoke at the conference, sharing his experience of over 25 years in the financial analysis of the global retailing industry.

Blooms The Chemist CEO, Emmanuel Vavoulas, said: “The return of international conferences for our network, starting with this year’s Partner’s Conference, provides a unique opportunity to expand our knowledge and cultural understanding of global retail practices. This ensures that Blooms The Chemist continues to deliver the highest quality of care to our community.
