Avent of a new partner

Philips Personal Health Australia and New Zealand is changing its mother and child care product distribution by bringing the whole Philips Avent portfolio under one provider, Endeavour Consumer Health, part of the EBOS Group.

Philips says the selection of a single specialist distribution partner for the Philips Avent portfolio will allow Philips Australia and New Zealand to harmonise its relationships with retail partners and enable them to further build on category leadership. This transition will end the distribution partnership with BPM Childcare in Australia.

“As we continue to put customers at the centre of our operations, a harmonised approach in our go-to market strategy for the mother and child care category will allow us to focus on deepening the relationships we have developed with our retail customers,” Philips Personal Health Australia and New Zealand General Manager Muir Keir said.

“We have an ongoing commitment to support parents, providing their baby a healthy start for a healthy future through our wide range of Philips Avent infant feeding solutions. We see this as the opportune moment to leverage the expertise of EBOS as a single specialist provider for healthcare products and services across our markets.

“We greatly value and thank BPM for the contribution they have made to the Philips Avent brand to date, as they have been a true long-term, outstanding distribution partner to us in Australia over the many years. We wish them the very best with their other brands, as well as their gifting and homeware ranges that they will continue to provide to Australian customers and consumers.”

During the transition period, BPM will continue to service all current retail partners until mid-May 2019. Retailers are asked to direct their inquiries to BPM for this time. From mid May 2019, Endeavour Consumer Health will take on the responsibility for the Philips Avent portfolio.
