Healthcare Management Advisors (HMA) is undertaking the implementation review of the Pharmacy Trial Program (PTP), on behalf of the Department of Health, according to the Pharmacy Guild.
The PTP was established under the 6CPA to trial new and expanded community pharmacy programs that seek to improve the clinical outcomes for consumers and/or extend the role of pharmacists in the delivery of primary healthcare services.
As part of the review, all pharmacists are invited to participate in a survey irrespective of their familiarity with the PTP.
The perspectives of all respondents (which will remain anonymous) will inform assessment of the level of awareness of and access to the PTP and also suitability of research methodologies and strategies to drive innovation and collaboration in pharmacy practice.
Data from this survey will be analysed and synthesised with other information gathered throughout the review process.
The Guild says it appreciates all input to inform its recommendations for the future of the PTP.
The pharmacist survey is available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Implementation_Review_Pharmacy_Trial_Program
The survey will close on April 30 at midnight.
