Misterhood for Sisterhood reaches half way point

August 9, marks the halfway point for Priceline Pharmacy’s 2019 ‘Misterhood for the Sisterhood’ campaign.

There has been $700,000 raised for the Priceline Sisterhood foundation so far.

“As sons, husbands and fathers, the women in our lives and our families are our number one priority- that’s why there was no hesitation for my mates or myself to get on board for this year’s campaign,” cricket legend Merv Hughes says as one of the campaigns representatives.

This year Mr Hughes has been accompanied by some new ‘misters’- AFL greats, Glen Jakovich, Dermott Brereton and Tony Modra and NRL greats, Billy Moore and Braith Anasta. The group of sportsmen, have been visiting different Priceline Pharmacy stores, encouraging locals to purchase a two dollar Scratch and Win ticket, that aids in raising money for the foundation.

The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation supports five charity partners who help women and their families: Look Good Feel Better, Children First Foundation, PANDA, Dementia Australia and Raise.

Last year $1.1mn was raised for the foundation.

“This month all our 480 stores are participating and organising their own fundraising initiatives and events. The enthusiasm and support shown by our staff on this campaign is nothing short of incredible and our milestone fundraising so far is a testament to the incredible work our teams are doing in store,” Priceline Pharmacy CEO, Richard Vincent said.
