Amcal and Guardian unveil 2022 Pharmacy Award recipients

Amcal and Guardian have concluded their 2022 National Retail Conference by celebrating their people, and announcing this year’s annual pharmacy award recipients.

Eight pharmacies, pharmacists and retail employees were awarded top prizes for their dedication to providing service excellence, promoting positive team culture and commitment to the community.

Brand Lead for Amcal and Guardian, David Preston, said that this year’s conference marked a special moment where teams were able to reflect on and celebrate their achievements while looking towards a bright future.

“This year’s Amcal and Guardian Conference was a welcome chance to bring our teams across Australia together to engage in professional development sessions, peer-to-peer workshops and to better understand our brand strategy as we join forces in 2023,” he said.

“Most importantly, the conference provided the opportunity for us to celebrate the hard work of our pharmacy and retail teams over the past year.

“While we know that every single team member contributed to the critical role of delivering expert healthcare services and assistance to their communities throughout the pandemic, it was a pleasure to recognise and celebrate the exceptional work of this year’s award recipients,” Mr Preston said.

“Over the past year and beyond, our pharmacies have continued to demonstrate their commitment to service excellence and community engagement, so we couldn’t be prouder to honour each of the award recipients who truly exemplified that we are stronger together,” he said.
