APP2021 speaker line up – ‘best so far’

The Hon Greg Hunt MP

Bold claims are being made about the APP2021 speaker line up, and that’s that it is the best in its 30-year history, according to Kos Sclavos AM, APP2021 Convenor and former Guild National President.

APP2021, which is a Covid-safe event, takes place in five weeks on the Gold Coast, 20-23 May 2021.

“We’ve got some truly fantastic speakers this year, including those who have been leading Australia’s response to Covid-19,” Mr Sclavos says.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Hon Greg Hunt MP, Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care, and Hon Mark Butler MP, Shadow Minister for Health and Aged Care, in a face-to-face setting.

“Just recently, we’ve also announced that Queensland’s Chief Health Officer, Dr Jeanette Young will address the pharmacy industry at APP2021.

“Dr Young has been in the role of Chief Health Officer for Queensland for over 15 years and has led the community selflessly through the coronavirus pandemic, to ensure they are safe and healthy.”

Mr Sclavos continues: “I’m also looking forward to hearing from Australian Olympians Anna Meares OAM and Steven Bradbury OAM.”

Last, Mr Sclavos emphasises, “If you haven’t already registered, you can now book with confidence. If border control measures or government restrictions prevent you from attending you will have the option of receiving a full 100% refund or transferring your registration to another delegate, at no cost.”
