Blackmores enters into two-year partnership with NBL

Blackmores, the leading natural health company in Australia has announced it has entered into a multi-year partnership with the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) for the first time, as a major partner.

Commencing during NBL’s Blitz Week, which runs from 16 – 22 September 2023, the community focused partnership between Blackmores and the NBL provides Blackmores the opportunity to make an ongoing impact in the community, aligning with its purpose to empower the best of health in everyone, naturally.

NBL’s Chief Executive Officer, David Stevenson, added: “This is Australia’s leading natural health company, and the addition of Blackmores significantly strengthens the League’s portfolio of partners as we build towards the start of the season this month.”

As part of the deal, Blackmores will be undertaking a dedicated community engagement program in collaboration with the NBL.

NBL Chief Partnerships Officer, Lauren Hansen, said: “Through its partnership with the NBL, Blackmores will help facilitate basketball coaching clinics around the country. This program will involve providing basketballs, raising donations to support community programs, and encouraging healthy lifestyles. Together, we are determined to make an ongoing positive impact in the community.”

Blackmores’ multi-year sponsorship of the NBL includes employee engagement activities, community outreach and support, broadcast interaction, brand and customer leverage, on-court branding; retail partner activations; as well as collaboration with current and previous NBL athletes. Through these activities, Blackmores is determined to shepherd the masterbrand message, ‘Good Health Changes Everything’, while reaching a captive audience of 3.52 million men, women, families and children.

The NBL Blitz runs until 22 September. The 2023-24 NBL season officially starts on 28 September at John Cain Arena, Melbourne when Melbourne United hosts South East Melbourne Phoenix.
