Winners have been announced for the 2018 Pharmacy Choice and Healthsave Five Steps incentive program.
A record 443 members including 73 newcomers took part in the program that scores member pharmacies with a scorecard approach, recognising stores for their commitment to the five steps:
- Buy better
- Improve layout
- Ramp up marketing
- Train for better results; and
- Streamline operations
Prizes were awarded for overall performance, best newcomer and most improved, giving pharmacies of any size a chance to win.
This year, the winning stores were recognised for their efforts at a Gala Dinner and each received two tickets for a Northern Territory adventure.
The 10 Top Tier winners went on to enjoy a Kakadu Adventure Tour with a sunset cruise, 4WD adventure tour and a Pudakul Aboriginal cultural tour.
Pharmacy Choice is an integrated retail support program for the independent pharmacy market with more than 855 members across Australia.
Pharmacy Choice and Merchandise Head Cameron Macklin said the Five Steps Incentive Program continues to provide members with sustained motivation to perform across all key areas for retail excellence.
“The results members continue to yield prove that providing our pharmacies with five straight forward steps to help them succeed is extremely effective,” he said.
