IPA Pledges $200K for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity

The Independent Pharmacies of Australia Group (IPA) is proud to announce our commitment to raising $200,000 for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity. At IPA, we are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in our communities by supporting vital causes. Currently, our focus is My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, which is dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families by providing critical medical equipment, clinical care, research, and trials.

Representing circa 1,100 independent pharmacies across Australia, IPA understands the heart of local communities. As pharmacy owners, we live and work in these communities daily and see firsthand the impact that health services can have on families.

At IPA, our mission is clear: to deliver the healthcare our communities need to thrive. We are dedicated to our ‘Together in Health’ commitment, offering the best pharmacy services, expert advice, and tailored solutions to ensure positive outcomes for our members and their patients.

Steven Kastrinakis, Pharmacist and Managing Director of IPA expressed our dedication: “Supporting My Room as a national charity is incredibly important to us. We understand the profound impact this charity has on children and their families. Our network is proud to contribute $200,000 to provide relief, hope, and support where it’s needed most.”

Every donation will directly support families, fund critical medical equipment, and advance life-saving research aimed at achieving a 100% cure for childhood cancers. By partnering with IPA, you’re helping us build a reputation of goodwill across the pharmacy industry and within our communities.

Together, we can unify our community pharmacies, empower their success, and make a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most. Let’s come together to support this incredible cause and create a brighter future for children with cancer.
