Liptember And Chemist Warehouse raise $2.1m In 2024 Liptember Campaign supporting women’s mental health

Women’s mental health foundation Liptember, in association with major charity partner,
pharmacy retailer Chemist Warehouse, is proud to announce that an incredible $2.1 million has been raised throughout the 2024 Liptember campaign.
Now in its 15th year, the national campaign is dedicated to raising much needed funds and
awareness for women’s mental health throughout the month of September. The campaign
encourages people to be bold and start the conversation surrounding mental health by wearing a brightly coloured Liptember lipstick, sold through exclusive retailer and partner, Chemist Warehouse.

Founded in 2010, Liptember has naturally grown and evolved into the foundation it is today, the trusted source and respected leader when it comes to women’s mental health. They have funded a wide range of diverse, women’s mental health outcomes. Funds raised in 2024 will continue to support five key priority areas identified by Liptember’s 2024
national research; encouraging help seeking, reducing barriers to support, further gendered
research, support of indigenous young women and advocacy around further policy reform.

“Every year, we are overwhelmed by the incredible support we receive from communities across Australia, and 2024 has been no exception. The funds raised this year will allow us to continue to push the boundaries of mental health support for women and bring focus to the unique societal and biological challenges they face. We’re incredibly grateful to our longstanding Premier Partner, Chemist Warehouse, who continue to invest and support women’s mental health so significantly in this country,” said Liptember Founder, Luke Morris.

“At Chemist Warehouse we pride ourselves on being the house of wellness and are committed to continuing our longstanding support of the Liptember Foundation. Their vital work makes such a positive impact on women and mental health initiatives, and we are thrilled to support in any way we can. We hope that together we can spark conversation and empower women to seek the support they deserve,” Chemist Warehouse Executive Director, Mario Tascone.
