New pharmacy in Perth CBD officially open

Wizard Pharmacy has opened another pharmacy in the Perth CBD.

The Grand Opening celebrations were held on 3 October and were led by City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas, with a Welcome to Country ceremony performed by Kevin Fitzgerald.

The celebrations also saw the official launch of the RAC Parks and Resorts Holiday Giveaway competition, giving customers a chance to win one of three WA escape prizes throughout October – a joint competition with Wizard Pharmacy’s brand partner, RAC.

The pharmacy, owned by Andrew Stent, is attached to Dr Eric G Tan AM’s new Wesley Medical Centre.

Mr Stent says having a pharmacy and medical centre next to each other is essential in the CBD, where time is often of the essence for consumers.

“Being able to offer such a complete health care solution in one easily accessible location for our consumers proves that they don’t have to sacrifice convenience for health care.

“I look forward to collaborating with Dr Tan and his team to improve patient health care in the Perth CBD,” Mr Stent said.

Mr Stent says that it was clear early on that Wizard’s vision and values aligned with his own, and their focus was always on the customer’s needs – something that hasn’t changed in the two and half years of being a part of the group.

“Since becoming a part of the Wizard family in January 2020, our customers have benefited from an extensive range of competitively priced products, an expanded Professional Service offering, and a Membership Rewards Loyalty Program that provides additional value, which is especially important in the current climate.

“I look forward to bringing our personalised healthcare experience and extra value to even more consumers in the Perth CBD with the opening of Wizard Pharmacy Perth Central,” Mr Stent said.

With this new franchise, the Wizard Pharmacy group has now hit 40 pharmacies across Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
