PA Conference rego packages

There’s only five weeks to go until the Pharmacy Assistant National Conference (PA Conference) in Brisbane on 28-29 October and, with a suite of registration packages available, pharmacy assistants can attend the PA Conference based on what suits them and the pharmacy.

The PA Conference is an annual event hosted by The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, which provides a two-day education program including Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) refresher training, the trade exhibition and networking and social functions, as well as the announcement of the 2022 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year award winner.

In recognition of the current workforce shortages experienced across community pharmacies, a range of registration packages were developed to suit the needs of individuals, businesses, budgets and schedules.

Pharmacy assistants have the selection of full registration, day registration, afternoon sessions or social functions only.

If you’re available to attend for its entirety, the full registration will ensure you get the most out of the PA Conference experience.

Full registration includes access to over 25 conference sessions, attendance at the QCPP refresher training pre-conference workshop, entry to the 30-stand trade exhibition and the sought-after social program of the Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner.

The Friday or Saturday day registration provides pharmacy assistants with access to the day’s conference sessions, as well as the opportunity to peruse the trade exhibition and network with industry professionals.

The day registration can be coupled with a ticket to that evening’s social program, either the Welcome Reception on Friday or the black and white themed Conference Dinner on Saturday.

The 30-stand trade exhibition of industry suppliers is open Friday, 10:00am to 7:30pm, and Saturday, 10:45am to 2:00pm, and is free to attend for pharmacy assistants and pharmacy staff.

With APP2023 registrations now open, pharmacies are also encouraged to take up the offer of a free APP2023 registration, valued at over $1,000, by registering two or more staff to attend PA Conference.

The PA Conference is a unique opportunity for community pharmacies to recognise pharmacy assistants’ increased workload and capacity over the past two years of the coronavirus pandemic and reward them with professional development and networking opportunities.

The countdown is on to the PA Conference. Visit pharmacyassistants.com to register now!
