The Platform Alliance Group (PAG) has announced its expert speaker line-up for the upcoming Inspiring Success Summit to be held in Adelaide from 27-30 August 2023.
The speaker line-up includes sessions from thought leaders such as futurist David Wild, international retail expert Gal Shivtiel, Arrotex CEO and entrepreneur Dennis Bastas and founder of Daily Dispatch Paul Cross.
The Summit will bring together member pharmacies from Chemist Discount Centre, Pharmacy Alliance, Advantage Pharmacy and Pharmacy Catalyst to ensure that all members have a plan to face current industry challenges, including 60-day dispensing (60DD), as well as opportunities in tech and digital.
“It’s clear [pharmacy owners] need immediate and long-term support to take on what will be the next biggest challenge for them since price disclosure,” says PAG CEO Dave Fenlon, referring to 60DD.
“At our PAG Member Summit, we will encourage more than 200 pharmacy owners to think past the challenges and turn them into opportunities,” he says.
The PAG Leadership team will also outline plans for its discount brand Chemist Discount Centre, its community-focused brand Alliance Pharmacy, and its patient-pharmacist relationship-focused brand Advantage Pharmacy as well as support available for independent pharmacies part of Pharmacy Catalyst, Pharmacy Alliance and Advantage members.
‘We are combining our previously held events, the Pharmacy Alliance Members’ Forum, Pharmacy Catalyst Conference, Chemist Discount Centre Annual Dinner into one event for all our members for the first time,” says PAG’s Chief Innovation Officer, Andrew Pattinson.
“Not only do we want our member delegates at the Summit to feel supported by our 160+ expert team in operations, commercial, technology and marketing, but we also want them to feel supported by their pharmacy owner peers.
“We also want to showcase the enhancements we’ve made in our loyalty and reporting platform, KnowITAll and our buying automation platform, Buy It Right, to give our pharmacies more time to focus on helping their patients with their health. We also have 40 sponsors keen to show our members their new initiatives to help them take on the future,” he says.
The PAG Inspiring Success Member Summit will be at the iconic National Wine Centre of Australia in Adelaide from 27-30 August.
It will include plenary conference sessions, networking evening events, and pharmacy brand streams for Chemist Discount Centre, Pharmacy Alliance, Advantage Pharmacy and Pharmacy Catalyst.
