Queensland Government official event partner of APP2021

With just over a month until the 2021 Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP2021), The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland Branch has announced that Tourism and Events Queensland has come on board as the Official Event Partner of the event.

APP Convenor and former Guild National President, Kos Sclavos AM welcomes the partnership and thanks the Queensland Government for their support.

“We are immensely grateful to Tourism and Events Queensland for supporting this crucial industry event,” Mr Sclavos says.

“We all know that 2020 was a tough year, so the Queensland Government’s support for events like APP is crucial to ensuring support for our communities, especially ones like the Gold Coast, who have been hit hard by the Covid-19 impact on tourism.”

Mr Sclavos encourages APP2021 attendees to “extend their stay in Queensland and visit some of the other amazing destinations our state has to offer” and urges anyone who hasn’t registered for the event to do so.

“With APP just over a month away, I encourage the industry to register if they haven’t already. Our risk-free booking guarantee protects everyone who has registered and paid.

“Attendees have options if border control measures or government restrictions prevent them from attending.”

The industry is set to reconnect at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on 20-23 May 2021.

APP2021 offers attendees a four-day educational program, exciting social activities and a trade exhibition showcasing the latest products, services and industry information.

Attendees can learn more about Covid safety and book their APP2021 registration at appconference.com.
