TerryWhite Chemmart (TWC) has announced that respected CEO Duncan Phillips will depart the company in October of this year.
Mr Phillips has been with TWC for six years, including the last two years as CEO and will reportedly return to the United Kingdom, where he is originally from, with his wife and young family.
Drawing from its strong executive team, TWC says it will manage Mr Phillips’ succession from within with two senior appointments.
Nick Munroe has been appointed into the key leadership role of Executive General Manager, TWC. He has been with TWC for more than a decade and has gained strong industry experience and knowledge of the successful operating model of the TWC business, with Network Partners at the heart.
“Over the last two years, the TWC business has gained significant momentum with increased network growth, strong Network Partner and Supplier sentiment and prominent brand presence,” says Mr Munroe, acknowledging Mr Phillips.
Mr Munroe says that Mr Phillips has made a “significant contribution to the business” and to “reinforcing the TWC brand”.
“The TWC team look forward to continuing to drive the aggressive growth plans with what is a very positive outlook for the business,” he says.
In addition to Mr Munroe’s appointment, Ben Elder has been promoted to the role of Chief Commercial Officer and will play a critical role in supporting the financial and strategic controls for TWC.
These changes come into effect immediately and importantly, between now and October Mr Phillips will assist Mr Munroe and Mr Elder with the transition into their roles.
