Southport pharmacy smashed and burgled

A video of a Queensland pharmacy being burgled following a brick being thrown through its door has been released by the police.

The video depicts one of two men throwing a large type of brick through the pharmacy’s glass front door.

The accomplice, after finishing the job of breaking the door, makes straight for the dispensary.

According to the police the man, who didn’t manage to wholly cover his face despite a few attempts, stole prescription drugs amounting to more than $1200.

He then exited through the shattered front glass door.

The police request that anyone who can provide any information on this crime should immediately contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
