The TerryWhite Chemmart (TWC) 2023 Masterclass provides clinical education in progressive community pharmacy care across a 3-day program 19-21 June.
Full scope of practice and 60-day dispensing will be presented as part of the keynote presentations from Professor Lisa Nissen, Director Research Program – Health Workforce Optimization at QUT and Chris Campbell, General Manager Policy and Program Delivery at Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
Professor Nissen is an experienced pharmacy and health leader, manager, practitioner, researcher and educator. She has worked in both hospital and community pharmacy in metropolitan and rural areas. Spending the last 10 years as Head of the School of Clinical Sciences at the Queensland University of Technology.
Chris Campbell is trained as a hospital pharmacist and has worked across community and industry roles as a pharmacist for over 20 years. His work with the PSA focuses on improving medicine safety and quality through pharmacists and has been involved in many of the recent advances in scope of practice of pharmacists including immunisation, administering medicines and prescribing. He is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at University of Queensland School of Pharmacy and Research Fellow at the Queensland University of Technology.
Chief Pharmacist Brenton Hart will lead the proceedings with his dedicated health and education team.
