TWC partners with Bupa

TerryWhite Chemmart (TWC) have announced a new strategic partnership that could bring Bupa’s four million health insurance customers access to a range of health services and benefits.

Announcing a new strategic alliance, TWC said the newly announced partnership with Bupa, due to be launched in May, is aimed at providing significant value and personalised care through TWC pharmacies around Australia.

TWC Chief Executive Officer, Anthony White said the partnership was an important strategic alliance aligned with its vision to be customers’ choice for health and value.

He said both companies saw the value of working together on programs that would be of significant benefit to the customers of both organisations including helping them feel rewarded and valued for staying healthy.

Bupa Health Insurance Managing Director, Dr Dwayne Crombie said the partnership is intended to deliver more value for money to customers and make healthcare easier to access.

“Health insurance has traditionally had limited involvement in pharmacy. This partnership will provide customers with an opportunity to reduce costs on medication and pharmaceutical supplies and have ready access to healthcare advice and preventative care,” Dr Crombie said.

The announcement of a partnership with Bupa follows TWC’s February announcement of an alliance with vitamin and supplement company Medlab.
