Wizard Pharmacy franchisee and Pharmacy of the Year 2022 finalist Elise Wheadon has taken out the 2022 Business Person of the Year award at the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s annual awards night, while her four pharmacies took out Business of the Year.
Ms Wheadon and her team also took out the Best Business in the 21-plus employee category, while team member Tia Price was the Retail and Customer Service Employee winner.
Ms Wheadon said she couldn’t believe the team had taken out four awards on the night.
“To be rewarded for our tireless devotion to our community and our perseverance to bring multiple private and government agencies together to deliver the best health outcomes during Covid is wonderful.
“During this time, we also expanded our two stores to four stores in Kalgoorlie, ensuring convenient and accessible healthcare and retail services within Kalgoorlie Boulder.
“A huge thanks goes to our team and customers who support us in providing care to the community,” said Ms Wheadon.
The Goldfields Business Awards recognise and reward excellence in business and acknowledge organisations and employees who have played a significant role in keeping the Goldfields sustainable.
