Wizard Pharmacy ignites future growth

Wizard Pharmacy held their inaugural ‘Get Fit Get Growth’ Franchise Conference, sponsored by Arrotex Pharmaceuticals, at Crown Perth last month, facilitated by Kos Sclavos AM.

Representatives from the entire franchise network were in attendance to discover the brand’s upcoming strategies to increase operating efficiencies and encourage growth in a rapidly changing industry that requires an agile approach to succeed.

Kos Sclavos AM provided an industry update focusing on 8CPA impacts on business and how to best leverage opportunities available with expanded scope of practice integration.

NostraData’s General Manager Client Services Nick Biggs shared the current impact 60-day dispensing is having and how to leverage data for increased returns. Arrotex Pharmaceuticals’ National Business Development Manager – Prescription Russell Carter spoke to opportunities for franchisees to drive profit.

Wizard Professional Services CEO Lyndon Dyson said the next twelve months were proving to be incredibly exciting and transformative for the brand, with initiatives being introduced to support the network in its next stage of sustainable growth.

“It was great to have our network and esteemed industry members come together to share the ongoing business investment opportunities we’re undertaking to remain competitive.

The organisational ability to deliver and embed fast-paced change will increasingly become a determinant of business success, and Wizard is perfectly positioned to be agile and proactive in responding to industry challenges.

From amalgamation opportunities to optimise returns and new wholesaler trading terms to critically assessing and rebuilding current operating models, we’re enhancing efficiencies across the brand, which will be crucial to success for our franchisees,” said Dyson.

Wizard Professional Services General Pharmacy Services Manager Chris Cromie hosted a panel session to introduce franchisees to the brand’s new Client Solutions offering that provides tailored solutions to each pharmacy’s requirements.

“There have been many changes in the pharmacy industry and retail sectors as a whole, and we knew that if we were to stay as market leaders, then we needed to change how we strategically and efficiently support our teams.

We will work with each franchise partner to identify actionable goals to be worked on with our range of experts coming together to maximise our support in a customisable structure that best suits the franchisee,” said Cromie.

The conference featured a presentation from Salesforce’s Ben Anderson on harnessing AI enterprise and customer data to transform business operations while navigating a digital world, while Vitavo’s Chief Commercial Officer Anthony Renehan unveiled the brand’s new booking platform.

The brand also unveiled their new ‘Good Health for less’ positioning while sharing new strategies they have been piloting to take into 2025 to appeal to a customer and patient mindset while enhancing the in-pharmacy experience.
