With Pharmacy Connect, a Covid-Safe event, set to take place from 2-4 September at the Hilton in Sydney’s CBD, The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has moved to guarantee that attendees will not be out of pocket for registration fees due to any potential travel restrictions that may be caused by Covid-19.
This guarantee comes following the success of APP2021 in May.
“One of the outstanding pieces of feedback from APP2021 attendees was how much they appreciated the assurance that regardless of what happened with Covid-19 travel restrictions, they were being looked after,” says Kos Sclavos AM, former Guild National President.
“If people can’t travel to Pharmacy Connect due to Covid-19 restrictions, they’re either able to get a full refund or transfer their registration to another delegate.
“Attendees can make arrangements with the certainty that they will not be out of pocket.”
Mr Sclavos says that planning for Pharmacy Connect is going “full steam ahead” and that he is looking forward to connecting with pharmacy colleagues in Sydney in September.
“All of those who had the opportunity to join us at APP2021 on the Gold Coast know the benefit of getting the chance to meet face-to-face as an industry.
“We’re very excited for what Sydney will have to offer with Pharmacy Connect,” he says.
