Annual Pharmacy Connect 2022 returns

This year’s Pharmacy Connect annual conference will be held at the Hilton, Sydney CBD on 1-3 September. The conference’s focus is on meeting the needs identified by pharmacy owners, pharmacy managers, and manufacturers.

Former Guild National President Kos Sclavos AM says planning for the event is well underway and encourages those interested in attending to get in early to take full advantage of the Early Bird rates.

“Pharmacy Connect is back! We’ve already lined up a number of speakers,” Mr Sclavos said. “Two speakers that will be a huge draw for attendees are Peter Baines OAM and Kim Brennan AM.

“Peter has spent the best part of his career leading teams as a strategic advisor in the face of international crisis and disaster. He was front and centre in working on the ground following the 2002 Bali bombings, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and the 2011 Japanese tsunami. His established experience of leading in challenging times and expertise in decision-making means he is an internationally respected voice on how businesses can prepare for and respond to any situation,” Mr Sclavos said.

“Kim Brennan will also be speaking to us about leadership,” he said.

“Many will recognise Kim’s name. Kim will be talking to us candidly about elite sport, business and technology. An Olympic gold medallist in rowing, Kim transferred her sporting skills to become an emerging trailblazer in technology implementation for a management consultancy.

“Given this is the first time we’ve been able to hold Pharmacy Connect for a little while, we expect demand to be high. With Early Bird savings of $50 off the full registration cost, closing 28 July 2022, anyone interested should move quickly to ensure they don’t miss out,”
Mr Sclavos said.

He said attendees can register confidently as the 100% Refund Guarantee introduced for APP would be extended to Pharmacy Connect 2022.

“If attendees can’t travel to Pharmacy Connect due to Covid-19 restrictions, they can get a full refund or transfer their registration to another delegate,” he said. “Attendees can make arrangements with the certainty that they will not be out of pocket.”
