Banana Boat class action dropped

Bannister Law has withdrawn its proposal to launch a class action against the makers of Banana Boat aerosol sunscreens, Edgewell Personal Care Pty Ltd.

Bannister Law has notified potential class members of the withdrawal.

The firm has previously made allegations in the public domain in relation to a proposed class action against Edgewell concerning the performance of Banana Boat SPF 50+ aerosol sunscreens.

The allegations were made in the course of seeking potential class members for the action,  on the basis of testing of Banana Boat SPF 50+ aerosol sunscreens conducted by Eurofin Dermatest that was commissioned by Bannister Law.

Bannister Law says it will not be commenting further on this matter and is referring all inquiries to Edgewell Personal Care Pty Ltd.
