Adults will reportedly catch between two to four colds a year, while children may experience as many as five to 10 per year.

While it’s said that it’s not possible to vaccinate against the common cold due to the large number of viruses that can cause it, people can help prevent colds by following good hygiene measures and using products that help trap and remove cold viruses.

Title ‘Early intervention to prevent common cold symptoms’, the course provides education about the common cold, its causes, its impact and how it can be managed and prevented.

The activity has been approved for 30 minutes of QCPP refresher training.
