Priceline prescribes cult-worthy products

Priceline Pharmacy showcased the latest cult-worthy products from 55 brands – including 16 exclusive brands – to more than 180 media and influencers at its signature health and beauty tradeshow event The Beauty Prescription Live in Sydney, which was held on 20 September.

Priceline Pharmacy General Manager Andrew Vidler says The company is thrilled to bring some of the very best products from the world’s leading health and beauty brands to its customers.

“Consumers are increasingly recognising the positive impacts of self-care and self-pampering on their wellbeing.

“We want people to be able to access high-quality, great value products that work, and these products are the best of the best,” Mr Vidler said.

Mr Vidler says Priceline Pharmacy is looking towards a post-pandemic future and was excited for what’s ahead for the brand.

“Our stores are seeing a return to normal shopping conditions with some great results, which is a testament to the strength and resilience of the brand, our stores and our team members across the network.

“This enables us to stay ahead of consumer trends and grow our stable of exclusive, high-quality and affordable luxury brands for the future.”

Mr Vidler says Priceline was deepening its commitment to sustainability and emphasis on working with brands that shared this approach.

“This is something we are truly passionate about and we’ll be introducing our own take on conscious beauty soon, allowing us to bring together the finest brands that meet the highest set of standards in this space,” he said.

Commenting on the role of pharmacies in community healthcare, Mr Vidler says the pharmacy brand is “seeing more and more people visiting their local pharmacist for valuable healthcare information, services and advice”.

Post-pandemic trends

During the event, Priceline pharmacist Jeyda Shiaxiates spoke about some of the trends she has seen coming out of the Covid pandemic, including people’s increasing understanding of the importance of preventative health and building up their immunity levels.

Priceline has 305 medically certified Health Stations across its network, which allow customers to check their blood pressure, body composition, BMI, heart rate, heart age and more.

Between 1 January and 30 June this year, Priceline performed 135,000 free health consultations across its health stations, generating 26,000 referrals to a GP.

During that same period, the pharmacy delivered close to 450,000 Covid vaccinations and over 300,000 flu shots.
