The countdown is on to APP2021

With one week to go before the annual conference kicks off, APP Convenor and former Guild National President, Kos Sclavos AM, says it’s “all systems go” for APP2021.

“We’ve got one of the best line-ups of speakers and presentations I can ever remember seeing,” says Mr Sclavos.

“We didn’t get to meet face-to-face in 2020, so we’ve really dialled it up for 2021. It’s almost like we’ve packed two years of value into this one APP.

“Given the line-up of speakers, sports stars, seminars and even a street party, I think attendees will be talking about this APP for a long timer. I would hate for anyone to miss out.”

Mr Sclavos reassures attendees that the event organisers are “closely monitoring the recent Covi-19” cases and announcements, and speaking about the situation in Victoria, he says that “the Government has released a short list of time-specific sites of exposure [and] at this stage unless people have been to those locations they don’t need to quarantine”.

With regards to the Covid-19 cases “in Sydney last week”, Mr Sclavos says that “the impact has been site and time-specific rather than having larger regions impacted [which] means that unless people have been to the specific sites, they do not need to quarantine when they come to Queensland”.

Mr Sclavos reassures those who may be worried about possible Covid-19 restrictions that may come up that “if people can’t travel due to Covid-19 restrictions, they’re able to get full refunds or transfer their registration to another delegate”.

“Attendees and delegates can make their arrangements with certainty that they will not be out of pocket,” says Mr Sclavos.

“We’re excited to see you next week. I’d hate for any attendees to miss out on the fantastic program, and sold-out trade and networking opportunities.”
