Vaccination updates at APP

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear the latest Covid-19 vaccination updates face-to-face from leaders in charge of the rollout.

Kos Sclavos, APP Convenor, says that the industry must not miss Health Minister, Greg Hunt’s update at the opening plenary on Thursday 20 May.

“With the landscape constantly changing, attendees have a unique opportunity to get the latest Covid-19 vaccination rollout updates straight from the Federal Government.”

“Immediately afterward, attendees will also get to hear an update from the Hon Mark Butler MP, Shadow Minister for Health and Aged Care.”

“Queensland’s Chief Health Officer, Dr Jeannette Young’s panel session is a must-see for advice on how to successfully execute an effective vaccine rollout in your pharmacy,” says Mr Sclavos.

“The program features a myriad of vaccination updates, including promotion and pitfalls of COVAX.”

“Many sessions reflect on the year that was, including the scope of practice changes brought on by Covid-19 and industry learnings from 2020.”

“The program is also jam-packed with post-Covid-19 updates around the Australian economy, the pharmacy market, consumers, rentals and the future of community pharmacy.”

Mr Sclavos also said that attendees can register for APP with certainty.

“We’ve acted to give attendees certainty around any disruptions to plans that may come out of Covid-19. If people can’t travel due to Covid-19 restrictions, they’re able to get full refunds,” Mr Sclavos says, “attendees and delegates can make their arrangements with certainty that they will not be out of pocket”.
